The Law Office of Richard C. Mills, PLC is focused on estate planning and matters before the Probate Court.  In addition to probate and estate planning services, Mr. Mills is also experienced in handling real estate and business law matters.

Who We Are

Richard Mills was born and raised in Jackson.  Mr. Mills is a graduate of Lumen Christi Catholic High School and a graduate of Aquinas College in Grand Rapids.  He received his Masters of Business Administration degree (M.B.A.) and law degree (J.D.) from the University of Detroit Mercy.  Mr. Mills graduated Magna Cum Laude from law school, in the top ten of his law school class, and served as an Executive Editor of the University of Detroit Mercy Law Review.  Mr. Mills has received a Certificate of Completion from the Probate and Estate Planning Certificate Program co-sponsored by the State Bar of Michigan Probate and Estate Planning Section and the Institute of Continuing Legal Education.  Mr. Mills is an active member of the following organizations:
